Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was thought to be among the best athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place in Rio de Janeiro and Biles was the U.S.'s only female gymnast ever to earn 4 gold medals. She also claimed the world title for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles was raised within Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after her and her sister Adria were adopted by their parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to the sport by her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman when she was just six years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles took home a medal for vault as well as a gold medal on the floor at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin competing in elite levels of competition. In just two years, she dominated this discipline. Biles was notable for her consistent performance, exuberant persona, and the difficulty of her routines across the four events she competed in such as vault, uneven bars and balance beam.
